In February 2026, Rajesh Agarwal, Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoC&I), launched the “India–Australia Business Case Studies Compendium” titled “Pitch Perfect Australia-India: Perfect Conditions for a USD 100 Billion Partnership” to promote bilateral trade, investment, and industry collaboration between India and Australia.

Overview: The compendium presents successful India–Australia business collaborations and documents best practices, market-entry strategies, regulatory experiences, and innovation-led partnerships, serving as a practical reference for businesses, startups, investors, and policymakers.
Objectives: It aims to promote two-way trade and investment, encourage industry-to-industry collaboration, and support the effective implementation of the India-Australia Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (ECTA).
Developer: The compendium was jointly developed by Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) and Newland Global Group.
Key Sectors Covered: The publication covers sectors such as manufacturing and critical minerals, education and skill development, technology and innovation, agriculture and food processing, and clean energy.
