At Rojgar4u.com, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. This User Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of your account and associated personal information from our platform.

Important Note: Deleting your data is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to all your job applications, saved jobs, messages, and profile information.

1. Your Right to Delete Data

In accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by us.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data through one of the following methods:

Method A: Self-Deletion (Recommended)

  1. Log in to your Rojgar4u account.
  2. Navigate to your Profile Settings page.
  3. Find the "Delete Account" section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click on the "Delete My Account" button and follow the on-screen confirmation steps.

(Note: If this feature is temporarily unavailable, please use Method B.)

Method B: Email Request

If you cannot access your account or prefer to make a manual request:

  1. Send an email to our dedicated support team at support@rojgar4u.com.
  2. Use the subject line: "Request for Data Deletion - [Your Username/Email]".
  3. Please send this email from the email address associated with your Rojgar4u account so we can verify your identity.

3. Data Deletion Process & Timeline

Once we receive your verified request:

  • Account Deactivation: Your account will be deactivated immediately, and your profile will no longer be visible to employers or other users.
  • Permanent Deletion: We will permanently delete your personal data from our active databases within 30 days of your request.
  • Confirmation: You will receive a final confirmation email once your data has been successfully deleted.

4. Information We May Retain

While we will delete your personal profile information, please note that we may be required to retain certain data for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes, such as:

  • Legal Compliance: Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (as required by Indian law).
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: Data necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect our platform's integrity.
  • Anonymized Data: We may retain anonymized, non-personally identifiable data for analytical purposes to improve our services.

5. Third-Party Data

If you have shared your data with third parties through our platform (e.g., applying for a job with an employer who downloads your resume), we cannot delete the data from their systems. You will need to contact those third parties directly to request deletion of your data from their records.
