11th COSP to UN Convention Against Corruption Held in Doha, Qatar
The 11th edition of the Conference of the State Parties (COSP-11)to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), the world’s largest anti-corruption conference  was held from December 15 – 19, 2025 in Doha, Qatar.

  • The 5-day long conference was hosted by the State of Qatar in collaboration with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

Presided by: The conference was presided by Hamad bin Nasser Al-Misnad from Qatar.
Key Outcome: The conference concluded successfully with the adoption of the ‘Doha Declaration 2025: strengthening international cooperation and technical assistance and seizing the opportunities provided by Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems in preventing and combating corruption’.

  • The declaration urges the member states to leverage digital technologies, including AI, to bolster global law enforcement cooperation in cross border corruption and to enhance accuracy, efficiency and objectivity of national efforts to measure corruption risks.
  • It emphasizes the use of digital technologies developed by expert networks, including through the UNODC Global Operational Network of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Authorities (GlobE Network), to ensure secure and instant exchange of information.

Other Key Resolutions: Other than Doha declaration, the conference adopted 11 resolutions on a wide range of issues related to corruption.

  • These resolutions focus on improving transparency in the funding of political parties, candidates for elected public offices, and electoral campaigns, among others.
