Key Details of Contract:
Order: As per the Letter of Acceptance (LoA), TRSL has been tasked to undertake the design, manufacture, supply, testing, and commissioning of 62 RBMVs.
Scope: It has also been mandated to provide training to personnel of IR, alongside servicing and breakdown maintenance support.
Time Period: The company is expected to start the supply of the machines within 15 months from the date of the order, while delivery of machines along with a complete set of spare parts is to be completed within 48 months (4 years).
RBMV: It is a specialised, self-propelled on-track machine, primarily used for the inspection, maintenance, and restoration of railway infrastructure.
- It features advanced systems for track maintenance and Overhead Equipment (OHE) works, aimed to enhance operational safety and reliability across the rail network.
