- The LoI was signed by Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Defence(MoD) and Marisa Gerards, Ambassador of Netherlands to India in the presence of Union Minister Rajnath Singh, MoD and David Van Weel, Foreign Minister of Netherlands.

About India–Netherlands Defence Cooperation:
Objective: To prioritize co-development and co-production of defence equipment and enhance bilateral defence cooperation.
Framework: Both nations will create a Defence Industrial Roadmap to guide technology collaboration, co-production, and co-development while enhancing military and industrial ties in niche technologies.
Strategic Ties: Both nations committed to a free and rule-based Indo-Pacific and recognized the Indian diaspora in the Netherlands as a ‘living bridge’ strengthening people-to-people ties.
