Titagarh Naval Systems Launches Fourth DSC A23 for Indian Navy
In April 2026, Titagarh Naval Systems Limited (TNSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Titagarh Rail Systems Limited(TRS), launched the 4th Diving Support Craft (DSC A23, Yard 328), on the Hooghly River for the Indian Navy (IN) during a ceremony held in Kolkata, West Bengal (WB).

- The ceremony was conducted by Deepa Sivakumar, spouse of B. Sivakumar, Vice Admiral of the IN.
Key Details:
Background: This newly launched DSC is a part of a 5-vessel series being developed under the Government of India (GoI)’s ‘Make in India’ initiative.
Design: 30-meter (m)-long DSCs, designed as catamaran-type vessels, are equipped with advanced indigenously sourced systems to support the IN’s Command Clearance Diving Teams (CCDTs).
