- Samir V. Kamat, Secretary of the Department of Defence Research and Development (DDR&D) officially handed over the satellite imaging system to Govind Mohan, Secretary of MHA, at a ceremony held at Kartavya Bhawan-3 in New Delhi, Delhi.
About Prajna:
Developed by: Prajna, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled system, was developed by Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIR), DRDO.
Significance: The new satellite imaging system is expected to play a significant role in monitoring sensitive regions, tracking suspicious activities and supporting counter-terrorism and border management efforts.
