2. Detailed Description
भारतीय सेना रिमाउंट वेटरनरी कोर में शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन के लिए योग्य पुरुष/महिला वेटरनरी स्नातकों से आवेदन आमंत्रित हैं. चयन प्रारंभिक जांच, सेवा चयन बोर्ड (एसएसबी) साक्षात्कार, योग्यता सूची और मेडिकल परीक्षा के आधार पर होगा. सफल उम्मीदवारों को कैप्टन के पद पर कमीशन किया जाएगा और आरवीसी सेंटर एंड कॉलेज, मेरठ कैंट में प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा. कमीशन पांच साल की अवधि के लिए होगा जिसे अतिरिक्त पांच साल के लिए बढ़ाया जा सकता है. अधिकारियों को वेतन, भत्ते और अन्य लाभ पे मैट्रिक्स लेवल 10(बी) के अनुसार मिलेंगे।
Applications are invited from qualified male/female veterinary graduates for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army. The selection process will be based on Initial screening, Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview, Merit list, and Medical Examination. Successful candidates will be commissioned in the rank of Captain and undergo training at RVC Centre & College, Meerut Cantt. The tenure of engagement will be for a period of five years, which may be extended by another five years. Pay, Allowances and Other Benefits will be as per Pay matrix level 10(B).

रिमाउंट वेटरनरी कोर में शॉर्ट सर्विस कमीशन अधिकारी के रूप में सामान्य अपेक्षाओं में भारतीय सेना में पशु चिकित्सा से संबंधित कर्तव्यों का पालन करना, सैनिकों और जानवरों को प्रशिक्षण देना, और सेना की समग्र मिशन तत्परता में योगदान देना शामिल होगा।

4. Age Limits
Minimum Age: 21 वर्ष (आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 26 मई 2025 तक). Maximum Age: 32 वर्ष (आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि 26 मई 2025 तक). Relaxation: बीवीएससी/बीवीएससी और एएच डिग्री धारक जो परमानेंट कमीशन (पीसी) टेस्ट के लिए योग्य हैं और 30 वर्ष से कम आयु के हैं, उन्हें पीसी के लिए विचार किया जाएगा. पीसी के लिए परमानेंट कमीशन के नियमों के अनुसार आयु में छूट लागू है.

Minimum Age: 21 years (as on the last date of submission of application i.e. 26 May 2025). Maximum Age: 32 years (as on the last date of submission of application i.e. 26 May 2025). Relaxation: BVSc/BVSc & AH degree holders who qualify for Departmental Permanent Commission (PC) Test and are below 30 years of age will be considered for PC. Age relaxation is applicable as per extant rules for the grant of permanent commission.

5. Educational Qualifications
उम्मीदवार के पास किसी भी मान्यता प्राप्त भारतीय विश्वविद्यालय या समकक्ष विदेशी डिग्री से बीवीएससी/बीवीएससी और एएच डिग्री होनी चाहिए. उम्मीदवार के पास भारतीय वेटरनरी काउंसिल एक्ट, 1984 की पहली या दूसरी अनुसूची में शामिल मान्यता प्राप्त वेटरनरी योग्यता होनी चाहिए.
Candidate must possess BVSc/BVSc & AH degree from any recognized Indian university or its equivalent foreign degree. Candidate must possess recognized veterinary qualification included in the first or second schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.

6. Other Qualifications
उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन जमा करने के समय इंटर्नशिप के साथ योग्यता परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण होनी चाहिए. जिन उम्मीदवारों के पास सभी वर्षों/भागों/सेमेस्टरों की मार्कशीट या योग्यता परीक्षा और इंटर्नशिप पूर्णता प्रमाणपत्र नहीं हैं, वे आवेदन न करें. बीवीएससी/बीवीएससी और एएच/एमवीएससी और पीएचडी डिग्री धारकों को प्रिंसिपल/डीन से डिग्री पूर्णता का प्रमाणपत्र संलग्न करना होगा. नेपाल के गोरखा विषय या प्रवासन के आधार पर योग्यता का प्रमाणपत्र आवश्यक हो सकता है.
Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination WITH INTERNSHIP AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION. Candidates who are NOT IN POSSESSION OF MARK SHEETS OF ALL YEARS/PART/SEMESTERS (INCLUDING FINAL/PART/SEMESTER) OR QUALIFYING EXAMINATION AND INTERNSHIP COMPLETION CERTIFICATE NEED NOT APPLY. BVSc/BVSc & AH/MVSc and PhD degree holders must attach a certificate from the Principal/Dean regarding degree completion. Certificate of eligibility may be required for Gorkha subject of Nepal or migrants.
