No representation in this regard will be entertained. One seat is reserved from Ground Duty (Non-Tech) vacancies for Law qualified candidates. The engagement period for Flying Branch SSC officers is fourteen years from the date of Commissioning. The initial tenure for SSC officers in Ground Duty (Tech and Non-Tech) branches would be for a period of ten years. An extension of four years may be granted subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and merit. Grant of Permanent Commission (PC) (at a later date) would be considered subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, willingness, suitability and merit and as per prevailing policies on the subject. SSC officers are not entitled for grant of pension.
3. Roles and Responsibilities

5. Educational Qualifications

Candidates are advised to be physically fit in order to be able to undergo the tests at AFSB . Prospective candidates are advised to keep themselves in good physical condition to adapt to physical training and undergo mandatory tests . Policy on permanent body tattoos is applicable; generally not permitted with certain exceptions. Use/possession of narcotics is banned; candidates may be tested during medicals and training. Candidates must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course. Marriage is not permitted during the period of training and shall lead to discharge and liability to refund expenditure incurred.

पंजीकरण के लिए आधार कार्ड अनिवार्य है। Aadhaar Card is mandatory for registration. एयर फोर्स अकादमी में शामिल होने के समय पैन कार्ड अनिवार्य है। PAN Card is mandatory at the time of joining Air Force Academy. एयर फोर्स अकादमी में शामिल होने के समय एसबीआई/राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक खाता अनिवार्य है। ट्रैवल अलाउंस के हस्तांतरण के लिए उम्मीदवार के नाम पर सही और सक्रिय बचत बैंक खाता आवश्यक है। SBI/Nationalised Bank account is mandatory at the time of joining Air Force Academy. Correct and active Saving Bank Account in candidate's name is required for transfer of Travel Allowance. उम्मीदवारों को पूरी चयन प्रक्रिया के दौरान अपना अद्वितीय पंजीकृत ईमेल आईडी और मोबाइल फोन नंबर सक्रिय रखना आवश्यक है। Candidates are required to maintain their unique registered Email ID and mobile phone number active throughout the selection process. स्थायी टैटू की अनुमति होने पर सेल्फ-डिक्लेरेशन सर्टिफिकेट पर हस्ताक्षर करना आवश्यक हो सकता है। Signing a Self-declaration Certificate may be required for permitted permanent body tattoos.
