The selection process in the Indian Coast Guard is based on four stages (Stage-I, II, III & IV), including a Computer Based Online Examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), document verification, and medical examination. Selection will depend on available vacancies and the candidate's performance. Qualification in all stages is compulsory. Strict identity checks, including live image capture, biometric verification, and document matching, will be conducted at each stage. 6. Other Qualifications

Minimum height should be 157 cms. Height standards may be reduced for candidates from certain regions such as Garhwal, Gorkhas, local tribes of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Lakshadweep. Chest should be well proportioned with a minimum expansion of 5 cms. Weight should be proportionate to height and age, with +10% acceptable. Hearing should be normal. Candidates are advised to get their ears cleaned for wax and tartar removed from teeth prior to medical examination. Permanent body tattoos are generally not permitted, however, certain concessions are allowed for candidates belonging to tribal areas and communities. Persons with any kind of disability are not eligible to apply.

Original Identity proof, printout of E-admit card, and passport size colour photographs are required while reporting for Stage-I, II, and III. It is mandatory to bring all original documents and their self-attested photocopies at Stage-II and Stage-III. Additional documents such as Police verification certificate, Parental willingness certificate, Family particular certificate, Character certificate, Willingness certificate, Attestation form, and NOC (if applicable) will also be required at Stage-III. Documents in Digilocker will not be accepted.

11. Application Procedure
