Digantra Industries Signs Agreement with DSTA to Protect Satellites from Space Debris Collisions
On February 3, 2026, Digantra Industries (Bengaluru, Karnataka) signed a partnership agreement with Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), Singapore, to co-develop tools and technologies aimed at protecting satellites from space debris collisions and enhancing Space Situational Awareness (SSA).
Key Details of the Agreement:
SSA Tools Development: Under the agreement, Digantara and DSTA will jointly develop SSA tools that can monitor orbital traffic and debris. These help track objects that could collide with operational satellites and issue alerts to avoid such collisions.
Sovereign Control: Digantara will provide solutions that Singapore can deploy and operate independently for its space domain awareness needs.
Collision Avoidance Support: Digantara will offer services related to flight dynamics and conjunction screening. It will help identify when a Singaporean satellite might approach a piece of debris and provide alerts for collision avoidance.
