Key Details:
Aim: The centre, established in collaboration with the IIT Mandi(Himachal Pradesh, HP), aims to support early-stage startups, promote innovation in deep-tech, and fix the gap between research and real-world application.
Startup Hub: It will serve as an innovation and incubation hub, supporting startups, student entrepreneurs, and joint programs with mentorship, investor access, market linkages, and technology commercialization and acceleration.
MoUs Signed: During the event, Galgotias University signed two strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs):
- It signed MoUs with National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) and Jharkhand University of Technology(JUT), Ranchi.
- These strategic partnerships are expected to enable joint research initiative; faculty and student exchange programmes; co-creation of deep-tech startups; access to advanced laboratories, and shared incubation, and acceleration programmes.
