IOB, IIM-Kozhikode Signs Pact for Executive Education, Capacity Building
In February 2026, the Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Management-Kozhikode (IIM-K)(Kerala) to foster collaboration on the design, delivery and certification of customised training programmes and workshops for IOB’s senior leadership and executives.

- The newly signed MoU was part of the 90th foundation day (February 10) celebrations of IOB.

Other Key Announcement: In addition to the MoU, the IOB also announced the setting up of a dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) for training and capacity building.
Key Roles: As per the MoU, IIM-K, through its Kochi campus, and IOB, through its staff college and new CoE will jointly work to deliver and develop high-impact learning interventions that address strategic and training requirements of IOB, using IIM-K’s expertise across management segment.
