In January 2026, the Department of Information Technology, Electronics & Communications (DITE&C), Government of Goa, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Starlink Satellite Communications Private Limited (SSCPL) (Starlink India) to strengthen the digital infrastructure, connectivity, and disaster resilience of the state by leveraging satellite-based broadband solutions.
