Proclamation: On 4 December 2000, the United Nations General Assembly(UNGA) adopted Resolution A/RES/55/9, proclaiming 18 December as International Migrants Day.
First Observance: International Migrants Day was observed for the first time on 18 December 2000.
Rights Convention: On 18 December 1990, the UNGA adopted the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families.
2025 Migration Reports:
