Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has imposed Section 163 of BNSS across the district from April 30 to May 8 ahead of International Workers' Day. This follows violent workers' protests in Noida a few weeks ago over a wage hike. Under Section 163, gatherings of five or more people in public places and processions without prior permission are strictly banned.
