King Charles' state visit to the US will go ahead as planned despite the shooting at an event at the White House, Buckingham Palace said. "I think he'll be very safe...White House grounds are really safe," US President Trump said in an interview with CBS. King Charles privately reached out to Trump to express sympathy about the shooting, Reuters reported.
