Cars in India could soon run on E85 fuel, as government is reportedly set to issue draft rules for E85, a blend containing up to 85% ethanol and 15% petrol. "Draft regulations will be notified very soon. There's consensus within the government," The Hindu said quoting a senior government official. Currently, E20 petrol is the standard fuel across the country.
