Pak politician Altaf, who once sought asylum from PM Modi, inspired Jamali in 'Dhurandhar'
Exiled Pakistani politician Altaf Hussain, who once sought asylum in India from PM Narendra Modi, is the inspiration behind Rakesh Bedi's 'Jameel Jamali' in 'Dhurandhar', revealed film's research consultant Aditya Raj Kaul. "Jamali is a mix of Altaf...and Nabeel Gabol, but it's mostly Altaf," said Kaul. He added Altaf moved to UK after allegations that he was working for RAW.
