Former South Africa pacer Dale Steyn named his all-time top five bowlers for RCB. He picked India spinner Yuzvendra Chahal as his number one RCB bowler, followed by Australian pacers Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc, India pacer Harshal Patel and former India spinner Anil Kumble. Chahal is RCB's all-time leading wicket-taker with 139 wickets.
