Pakistan places Islamabad under 2-day 'security lockdown' ahead of US-Iran talks
Pakistan has placed its capital Islamabad under a "security lockdown" as it prepares to host the first round of negotiations between US and Iran on Friday. Authorities have imposed Section 144 and announced a two-day public holiday in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Pakistan's army has been deployed in Islamabad's Red Zone. US Vice President JD Vance will reportedly lead the talks.
