The US economy unexpectedly shed jobs in February, increasing the unemployment rate to 4.4%. Non-farm payrolls decreased by 92,000 jobs last month after a downwardly revised 1,26,000 increase in January, the US' Labor Department's Bureau of Labor Statistics said in its employment report on Friday. The country saw a strike by healthcare workers in February.
