Iran won't compete at the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games, the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced on Friday, as its lone athlete, Aboulfazl Khatibi, was unable to travel to Italy due to the Middle East war. The announcement came hours ahead of the opening ceremony in Verona. Khatibi was set to compete in two Para cross-country skiing medal events.
