QatarEnergy has halted production of some downstream products, including urea, polymers, methanol and aluminium. This comes a day after the state-owned enterprise, the world's largest LNG producer, stopped natural gas production. The company cited military attacks on its facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City as the reason for suspending operations.
