Alia Bhatt makes 1st BAFTA appearance, opens speech in Hindi as presenter

Actress Alia Bhatt made her first appearance at BAFTA 2026. Alia, who presented the award for Best Film Not in the English Language, opened her speech in Hindi. Greeting audience with a 'Namaskar', she said, "Agla award ek aisi film ke liye hai, jo angrezi mein nahi hai (The next award is for a film not in the English language)."
