On January 6, 2026, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) headed by Prime Minister(PM) Narendra Modi,approved a one-year extension of Abhishek Dev’s tenure as Chairman of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry(MoC&I), effective from February 8, 2026.
