Location & Area: This Ramsar-listed site is situated in Gonda District, UP, covering an area of 1,084 hectares and serves as a critical habitat for migratory birds from Central Asia and Tibet.
ESZ : An area surrounding protected regions, designated under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (EPA), aimed at reducing human impact and ensuring sustainable development.
