Indian Navy Launches ‘Operation Urja Suraksha’ to Secure Energy Vessels in Strait of Hormuz In March 2026, the Indian Navy(IN) launched ‘Operation Urja Suraksha’(Energy Protection) to escort, guide and safeguard India-bound energy shipments through the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz.
