Indian Maritime University is inviting applications from eligible candidates for faculty positions through direct recruitment as per Advt. No. IMU-HQ/R/T/2025/01 dated 29.03.2025. Applicants must adhere to all recruitment rules and guidelines, including document verification and eligibility criteria as prescribed by the University and the Government of India.
भारतीय मेरिटाइम यूनिवर्सिटी अपने विस्तृत भर्ती नियमों और पात्रता मानदंडों के अनुसार, एडवर्टाइजमेंट संख्या IMU-HQ/R/T/2025/01 दिनांक 29.03.2025 के तहत, फ़ैकल्टी पदों के लिए योग्य उम्मीदवारों से आवेदन आमंत्रित करती है। उम्मीदवारों को सभी निर्देशों और आवश्यक दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन का पालन करना अनिवार्य है।

Age Limits
Minimum Age: 18 Years
Maximum Age: 63 Years (after all applicable relaxations)
Relaxation: Age relaxations as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC-NCL, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen
न्यूनतम आयु: 18 वर्ष
अधिकतम आयु: 63 वर्ष (सभी रियायतों के पश्चात)
रियायत: SC/ST/OBC-NCL, PwD और पूर्व सैनिकों के लिए सरकारी मानदंडों के अनुसार

Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline along with a Master’s degree and the required NET/SET qualification. Applicants with a Ph.D. from foreign universities must submit an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities.
उम्मीदवार संबंधित विषय में पीएच.डी. के साथ मास्टर्स डिग्री और आवश्यक NET/SET योग्यता रखते हों। विदेश के विश्वविद्यालय से पीएच.डी. प्राप्त उम्मीदवारों को इंडियन यूनिवर्सिटीज एसोसिएशन द्वारा जारी समकक्षता प्रमाणपत्र प्रस्तुत करना अनिवार्य है।

Other Qualifications
Candidates should have published research in peer-reviewed journals and demonstrate a sound record in teaching and/or research. Additional academic achievements and experience will be an advantage.
उम्मीदवारों के पास प्रासंगिक पत्रिकाओं में शोध प्रकाशन होना चाहिए तथा शिक्षण/अनुसंधान में अच्छा अनुभव और उपलब्धियां होनी चाहिए। शैक्षणिक क्षेत्र में अतिरिक्त अनुभव व सफलता लाभकारी मानी जाएगी।

Application Fee
• Rs.700/- + applicable GST for SC/ST candidates
• Rs.1000/- + applicable GST for all others
Note: Women and PwD candidates are exempted from the application fee as per GOI norms.
