2. Detailed Description
Online Applications are invited by the Staff Selection Commission for Selection Posts, Phase-XIII/2025 Examination. Recruitment is based on vacancies reported by User Ministries/Departments/Organizations. The selection process involves a Computer Based Examination (CBE) consisting of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions. Candidates who qualify in the CBE will be shortlisted for document scrutiny. After scrutiny, eligible candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) by the concerned User Department/Regional Offices of SSC. Skill Tests may also be conducted where prescribed. Candidature is provisional at all stages, subject to satisfying eligibility conditions and verification of documents. Age Limits
Minimum Age: The Age Limit for each category of Post varies and is mentioned in the details/description of the post(s). For posts where no age is mentioned, the limit is specified as 18 to 45.

Relaxation: Relaxation in Upper Age Limit is available for eligible candidates. Candidates must check their eligibility for seeking relaxation carefully. 5. Educational Qualifications
Essential Qualifications (EQs) for each category of Post vary and are mentioned in the details/description of the post(s). Candidates must possess the required EQs by the crucial date as per notification. Equivalence will not be allowed unless stipulated in the Recruitment Rules. Qualifications through Open and Distance Learning mode must be recognized and approved by UGC/Distance Education Bureau for the relevant period.

6. Other Qualifications
Experience in a particular field/discipline for a specified period may be an Essential Qualification for some posts. Skill Tests like Typing/Data Entry/Computer Proficiency Test etc. may be prescribed in the Essential Qualification. Proficiency in a specific language may also be an essential qualification for certain posts, requiring study up to Matriculation level or being the mother-tongue.

7. Application Fee
Applications received without prescribed fee shall not be considered and summarily rejected. Fee once paid shall not be refunded or adjusted. Candidates who are not exempted from fee payment must ensure their online fee payment is successful. Fee concession is available for eligible candidates.

10. Required documents and assets
Candidates will need to upload scanned signature. Live photograph is also required to be captured and uploaded. Self-attested copies of supporting documents (Educational Qualification, Experience, Category, Age, Age-relaxation, etc.) must be uploaded after the CBE result. Original documents must be produced at the time of Document Verification. Specific certificates are required for SC/ST, OBC, EWS, PwBD, and ESM candidates claiming reservation or age relaxation. PwBD candidates using a scribe need to upload relevant certificates/undertakings. Photo ID proof is required at DV and for scribes. Government employees need to submit a declaration. Aadhaar based authentication is an option for OTR.

11. Application Procedure
Candidates must apply online through the SSC website https://ssc.gov.in or the mySSC mobile application. The application process involves two parts: One-Time Registration (OTR) and filling the online Application Form for the Examination. New OTR is required on the new website. Basic details (Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Date of Birth, Matriculation details, Mobile Number, Email ID) are filled during OTR. Additional details (Category, Nationality, Identification Mark, Disability, Address) are also part of OTR. After OTR, candidates log in and fill the online application form for the specific post code, providing details like preference for Examination Centers, details regarding Ex-Servicemen or Government employment, requirement of scribe, highest educational qualification, experience details, and seeking age relaxation. Live photograph and scanned signature are uploaded. Candidates must apply separately for each category of post they wish to apply for. A preview of the form should be checked before submission. Fee payment is made online unless exempted. Applications are accepted provisionally. A correction window is available after the submission deadline.

13. Notes
The website of the Commission is the primary source of information. Candidates are advised to submit online applications much before the closing date. The name and date of birth must strictly match the Matriculation/Secondary Certificate. Candidature is provisional and subject to verification of documents. Certificates for claims (reservation, age relaxation, etc.) must be in the prescribed format. Applications with inappropriate photographs or blurred/miniature signatures are liable to be rejected, unless Aadhaar Based Authentication is used. All posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL). No admission certificates will be issued by post; candidates must download them from the website. After successful submission, candidates must take a print out of the application form. Any concealment/misrepresentation/misdeclaration shall lead to cancellation of candidature. Malpractice or unfair means can lead to cancellation and debarment.
