2. Detailed Description
Kumaun University invites online applications for:
• Professors (Academic Level 14): Eminent scholars with Ph.D., ≥10 years’ teaching/research experience, ≥10 publications, research score ≥120.
• Associate Professors (Academic Level 13A): Good academic record with Ph.D., ≥8 years’ teaching/research experience, ≥7 publications, research score ≥75.
• Deputy Librarian (Level 12): Master’s in Library/Information/Documentation Science with 55%, 8 years’ experience as Assistant University/College Librarian, Ph.D. in Library Science.
कुमाऊँ विश्वविद्यालय में निम्न पदों के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए जाते हैं:
• प्रोफेसर (लेवल 14): संबंधित विषय में Ph.D., न्यूनतम 10 वर्ष का शिक्षण/अनुसंधान अनुभव, 10 प्रकाशन एवं कुल अनुसंधान स्कोर ≥120।
• एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर (लेवल 13A): अच्छा अकादमिक रिकॉर्ड, Ph.D., 8 वर्ष का शिक्षण/अनुसंधान अनुभव, 7 प्रकाशन एवं अनुसंधान स्कोर ≥75।

3. Roles and Responsibilities
● Deliver lectures and guide students in respective disciplines.
● Conduct and evaluate examinations, seminars, tutorials.
● Develop and update curriculum and course materials.
● Supervise research projects and guide doctoral candidates (Professors & Associate Professors).
● Implement innovative teaching learning methods and ICT integration.
● Manage library resources, digital services and user support (Deputy Librarian).
● Participate in departmental and university committees.
● Ensure quality assurance, attend meetings and contribute to accreditation processes.

• Deputy Librarian: Master’s in Library/Information/Documentation Science ≥55%; Ph.D. in Library Science.

● Valid Equivalence Certificate for foreign Ph.D. (if any).
● Proven track record of research, publications, projects and patents.
