Crucial date for claim of SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/EBC status or any other benefit viz. fee concession, reservation, age-relaxation, etc., where not specified otherwise, will be the closing date for submission of ONLINE applications against this CEN.

इस CEN में इंगित RRB-वार और रेलवे-वार रिक्तियां अनंतिम हैं और संबंधित रेलवे प्रशासनों की आवश्यकता के अनुसार बढ़ या घट सकती हैं. उम्मीदवार केवल एक RRB चुन सकते हैं और उस चुने हुए RRB के तहत अधिसूचित रेलवे ज़ोन के लिए ही अपनी प्राथमिकता इंगित कर सकते हैं. RRB-wise & Railway-wise vacancies indicated in this CEN are provisional and these may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Railway Administrations concerned. This action needs to be done at any point of time before final submission of application for a particular CEN.

After the submission of the ONLINE application (complete in all respects) and paid requisite fee successfully, if a candidate wishes to further modify, change or correct any detail except 12 details filled in ‘Create an Account’ and also “Chosen RRB”, he/she may do so by paying a modification fee of Rs. 250/- (non-refundable) for each occasion from 14-05-2025 to 23-05-2025. Details filled in ‘Create an Account’ form and Chosen RRB cannot be changed.

दूसरे चरण की CBT के लिए उम्मीदवारों की शॉर्टलिस्टिंग CBT-1 में उनके सामान्यीकृत अंकों और योग्यता के आधार पर उस RRB के लिए अधिसूचित रिक्तियों के 15 (पंद्रह) गुना की दर से RRB-वार की जाएगी. यदि एक से अधिक उम्मीदवार कट-ऑफ अंक के बराबर अंक प्राप्त करते हैं, तो उन सभी को CBT-2 के लिए शॉर्टलिस्ट किया जाएगा. Shortlisting of candidates for the Second Stage CBT shall be done RRB-wise at the rate of 15 (fifteen) times the vacancies notified for that RRB (may increase or decrease as per requirement of the Railway Administration). It will be based on their merit in CBT-1 among the candidates who have chosen the same RRB. In case more than one candidate obtain marks equal to cut-off point, they all will all be shortlisted for CBT-2.

Candidates carrying banned items like communication devices and electronic gadgets (mobile phones, bluetooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, smart watches or any other communication devices or methods), bangles, chains, bracelets, hearing aids, wallets/purses, belts, shoes, metallic wears, etc., or any stationery items like pen/pencil, shall NOT be allowed to appear in the exam. Any violation shall lead to disqualification besides legal action and debarment from future recruitment exams.

Candidates who have been dismissed from service by the Central Government of India / State Government / PSU / any other government organization are not eligible and should not apply.

Signatures of the candidates on all the documents should be uniform and identical at all stages of recruitment process. Signature must be in running hand-writing and not in BLOCK/ CAPITAL or disjointed letters. Signature should be written with black ink pen with pure white background only. Non-standard signature image (poor resolution, incomplete image, incomplete signature, image other than signature, no signature(blank)image etc) will result in rejection of candidature at any stage of recruitment process. Use of different signatures at various stages of recruitment may result in disqualification of candidature.

RRBs conduct verification of eligibility conditions (with reference to the original documents) only after the candidates have qualified in all the stages of examination and are provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification. At the time of Document Verification, the RRB will verify the details provided in the online application against the original supporting documents submitted by the candidates. Any discrepancy between the information declared in the application and the supporting documents OR failure to meet the eligibility criteria (such as educational/technical qualification, age, caste/category, medical standards etc), will result in the rejection of the candidature.
उम्मीदवार को खाता बनाते समय ऑनलाइन आवेदन में केवल एसएससी/एसएसएलसी/मैट्रिकुलेशन/10वीं कक्षा की परीक्षा प्रमाणपत्र या समकक्ष प्रमाणपत्र में दर्ज अपना नाम, पिता का नाम, माता का नाम और जन्म तिथि दर्ज करनी चाहिए. Candidate should enter their name, father name, mother name and Date of birth as recorded in SSC/SSLC/Matriculation/10th class exam certificate or an equivalent certificate only, in on-line application during creation of an account.
भर्ती प्रक्रिया का विस्तृत विवरण पैरा 12 में दिया गया है. CBT-1, CBT-2, CBAT और DV की तिथियां भाग लेने वाले RRB की वेबसाइटों पर पैरा 13 (j) में दी जाएंगी. E-call letters for CBT-1, CBT-2, CBAT and DV (as applicable) should be downloaded ONLY from the websites of the RRBs concerned as given at Para 13 (j). The CBT/CBAT centre & date & shift indicated in the e-call letter shall be final, and no request for change of date/ time/ place will be entertained.
RRB बिना कोई कारण बताए अतिरिक्त CBT और/या CBAT (जैसा लागू हो), अतिरिक्त DV आदि शुरू करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है. इसके अलावा, RRB तकनीकी बाधाओं / अपरिहार्य परिस्थितियों के कारण किसी भी CBT/CBAT/DV को पुनर्निर्धारित करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है. RRBs reserve the right to introduce additional CBTs and/or CBAT (as applicable), additional DV, etc. without assigning any reason. Further, RRBs reserves the right to reschedule any CBT/CBAT/DV due to technical constraints /unavoidable circumstances.
मुफ्त ट्रेन यात्रा सुविधा: एससी और एसटी उम्मीदवारों (यदि आवेदन में चुना गया है) के लिए स्वीकार्य नि:शुल्क स्लीपर क्लास रेलवे पास, उनके ई-कॉल लेटर के साथ चयन के विभिन्न चरणों यानी सीबीटी/सीबीएटी/डीवी/मेडिकल परीक्षा (जैसा लागू हो) के लिए उनके ऑनलाइन आवेदन में दिए गए विवरण और वैध जाति प्रमाण पत्र के अनुसार प्रदान किया जाएगा. Free Train Travel Facility: Free Sleeper Class Railway Pass admissible to SC & ST candidates (if opted in application), will be provided with their e-call letter for various stages of selection viz., CBT/ CBAT/ DV/ Medical Examination (as applicable) as per details and valid caste certificate furnished in their ONLINE application.
ट्रेन में आरक्षण कराते और यात्रा करते समय, उम्मीदवार की वास्तविकता के सत्यापन के लिए संबंधित अधिकृत रेलवे कर्मचारियों को मूल एससी और एसटी समुदाय प्रमाण पत्र दिखाना होगा. इस मुफ्त यात्रा सुविधा का कोई भी दुरुपयोग चयन प्रक्रिया के किसी भी चरण में उम्मीदवारी अस्वीकार करने, भविष्य में RRB/RRC द्वारा आयोजित परीक्षाओं से वंचित करने और कानूनी कार्रवाई/परिणामों के लिए उत्तरदायी होगा. While booking train reservation and travelling, the original SC & ST community certificate must be shown to authorized Railway staff concerned, for verification of genuineness of the candidate. Any misuse of this free travel facility, shall lead to rejection of candidature at any stage of the selection process including debarment for future examinations conducted by RRBs/RRCs and liable for legal action/consequences.

Vacancies indicated in the CEN are provisional and may increase or decrease or may even become NIL in total or in specific communities/units at a later stage, depending upon the actual needs of the Railway Administration concerned. Additional posts if required by the Railway(s) may also be included at a later stage. The Railway Administration also reserves the right to cancel the notified vacancies at its discretion and such decision will be final and binding on all. In the event of such cancellation, the examination fee paid by the candidates will not be refunded except for candidates who have attended the First Stage Examination (i.e., CBT-1). Selection by RRB does not confer upon candidates any right of appointment in the Railways. The function of the RRB is only to recommend names of suitable candidates to the concerned authorities of the Zonal Railway who in turn issue the Offer of Appointment subject to availability of vacancies and satisfying all eligibility criteria including antecedents of character.
सहायक लोको पायलट के पद के लिए चयनित उम्मीदवारों को जहां भी निर्धारित हो, प्रशिक्षण लेना होगा और प्रशिक्षण अवधि के दौरान केवल वजीफा दिया जाएगा. Selected candidates for the post of ALP will have to undergo training wherever prescribed and only stipend will be paid during the training period.
चयनित उम्मीदवारों को जहां आवश्यक हो, सुरक्षा और/या क्षतिपूर्ति बांड निष्पादित करना होगा. Selected candidates shall execute Security and/or Indemnity Bond wherever necessary.
RRB भर्ती प्रक्रिया के किसी भी चरण में, पैनल में शामिल होने के बाद/रेलवे में उम्मीदवार की नियुक्ति के बाद भी, RRB द्वारा चयन प्रक्रिया में किसी भी अनजाने त्रुटि/टाइपोग्राफिक गलती पाए जाने पर परिणामों को रद्द/संशोधित करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है. इसके अलावा, RRB ऐसे उम्मीदवारों को चयन पैनल से हटाने और रेलवे से उनकी नियुक्ति रद्द करने का अधिकार सुरक्षित रखता है और यदि पहले से ही नियुक्त है, तो उसे रेलवे सेवा से हटाया जा सकता है. RRB reserves the right to cancel / modify the results in case of any inadvertent error / typographical mistake found in the selection process of RRBs, at any stage of recruitment process including post empanelment /also after appointment of candidate to Railways. Further, RRBs reserves the right to delist such candidates from selection panel & cancel their appointment from Railways and if already appointed, he/she will be liable to be removed from Railway service.

Candidates called for DV will have to pass requisite medical fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that they are physically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post. Visual Acuity Standard is an important medical fitness for railway service. The medical requirements for the post of Assistant Loco Pilot of this CEN are outlined below.

दृष्टि मानक: i) दूर दृष्टि: 6/6, 6/6 बिना चश्मे के फॉगिंग टेस्ट के साथ (Must not accept +2D). ii) निकट दृष्टि: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 बिना चश्मे के. iii) रंग दृष्टि, द्विनेत्री दृष्टि, दृष्टि क्षेत्र, रात की दृष्टि, मेसोपिक दृष्टि आदि के लिए परीक्षण पास करना होगा. VISION STANDARDS: i) Distant Vision: 6/6, 6/6 without glasses with fogging test (must not accept +2D). ii) Near Vision: Sn: 0.6,0.6 without glasses and iii) Must pass tests for Colour Vision, Binocular Vision, Field of Vision, Night Vision, Mesopic Vision, etc.
लेसिक सर्जरी या अपवर्तक त्रुटि को ठीक करने के लिए किसी अन्य शल्य प्रक्रिया से गुजर चुके उम्मीदवार ALP के पद के लिए पात्र नहीं हैं. दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन के दौरान उम्मीदवारों को अनुलग्नक VI-B में घोषणा प्रस्तुत करनी होगी. Candidates who have undergone Lasik surgery or any other surgical procedure to correct refractive error, are not eligible for the post of ALP. Candidates have to submit declaration in Annexure VI-B during DV.

The post of ALP has stringent medical standards. Hence, they must ensure that their fitness - both in terms of vision as well as physical/other medical standards - is as per the prescribed requirements detailed in the medical manual indicated above.

In case of failure of the candidate to pass in the prescribed medical fitness/standard of this post, he/she will not be considered for empanelment for this post and also no alternate appointment will be provided by Railways.
राष्ट्रीयता / नागरिकता: उम्मीदवार को या तो भारत का नागरिक होना चाहिए, या नेपाल का नागरिक, या भूटान का नागरिक, या तिब्बती शरणार्थी जो 01.01.1962 से पहले भारत में स्थायी रूप से बसने के इरादे से आया हो, या भारतीय मूल का व्यक्ति जिसने पाकिस्तान, बर्मा, श्रीलंका, केन्या, युगांडा, संयुक्त गणराज्य तंजानिया, जाम्बिया, मलावी, ज़ैरे, इथियोपिया और वियतनाम से भारत में स्थायी रूप से बसने के इरादे से प्रवास किया हो. NATIONALITY / CITIZENSHIP: A candidate must be either: (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a citizen of Nepal, or (iii) a subject of Bhutan, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before 01.01.1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Age Relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age for various categories are applicable subject to submission of requisite certificates.
उम्मीदवारों की जन्म तिथि नीचे दी गई तिथियों के बीच होनी चाहिए: (दोनों तिथियां शामिल). Date of birth of candidates should be between the dates given below: (Both dates inclusive).
महत्वपूर्ण: उम्मीदवारों को ध्यान देना चाहिए कि उनके आवेदन में भरी गई जन्म तिथि उनके मैट्रिकुलेशन / एसएसएलसी/10वीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण या समकक्ष प्रमाणपत्र में दर्ज जन्म तिथि के समान होनी चाहिए. जन्म तिथि में बाद में किसी भी बदलाव के अनुरोध पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा. जन्म तिथि में कोई भी अंतर उम्मीदवार को अयोग्य घोषित कर देगा. IMPORTANT: Candidates must note that the date of birth filled in their application should be the same as recorded in their Matriculation / SSLC/10th class pass or an equivalent certificate. No subsequent request for change in date of birth will be considered. Any difference in the date of birth will lead to disqualification of the candidate.
आवश्यक योग्यताएं: आवश्यक योग्यताओं की सूची अनुलग्नक-ए में दी गई है. उम्मीदवारों के पास ऑनलाइन आवेदन जमा करने की अंतिम तिथि को मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान/विश्वविद्यालय से निर्धारित शैक्षिक/तकनीकी योग्यताएं पहले से ही होनी चाहिए. अपनी निर्धारित शैक्षिक/तकनीकी योग्यता की अंतिम परीक्षा के परिणाम की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे उम्मीदवारों को आवेदन नहीं करना चाहिए. शैक्षिक/तकनीकी योग्यता प्रमाणपत्रों यानी अनंतिम या नियमित प्रमाणपत्रों में जारी करने की तिथि होनी चाहिए. यदि इन प्रमाणपत्रों के जारी होने की तिथि अधिसूचना की अंतिम तिथि के बाद की है, तो अंतिम क्वालीफाइंग परीक्षा की घोषणा की तिथि के साथ समेकित अंक पत्र या प्रत्येक सेमेस्टर/वर्ष के परिणाम की घोषणा की तिथि के साथ सभी सेमेस्टर/वर्षों के व्यक्तिगत अंक पत्र जमा किए जाने चाहिए. यदि इनमें से किसी भी प्रमाणपत्र में तिथि उपलब्ध नहीं है, तो इस संबंध में बोर्ड/विश्वविद्यालय से परिणाम की घोषणा की तिथि इंगित करने वाला एक प्रमाणपत्र दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन के समय प्रस्तुत किया जाना चाहिए. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: The list of essential qualifications is given in Annexure-A. Candidates must already have the prescribed Educational/Technical qualifications from a recognized Institute/University as on the last date for submission of ONLINE application. Those awaiting results of their final examination of the prescribed educational/technical qualification, SHOULD NOT apply. NOTE: The Educational/Technical Qualification certificates viz. Provisional or Regular Certificates should contain the date of issue. In case, date of issue of these certificates is after the closing date of the notification, then the consolidated marks sheet with date of declaration of the final qualifying exam or individual mark sheets of all the semesters/years with date of declaration of each semester /year result should be submitted. In case of non-availability of date in any of these certificates, then a certificate indicating date of declaration of result from the Board/University to this effect should be produced at the time of DV.
परीक्षा शुल्क: उम्मीदवारों को अपनी समुदाय/श्रेणी के अनुसार निर्धारित शुल्क का भुगतान करना होगा. सभी उम्मीदवारों के लिए (क्रमांक 2 पर नीचे उल्लिखित श्रेणियों को छोड़कर) ₹ 500/-. इस ₹ 500/- के शुल्क में से, प्रथम चरण CBT में उपस्थित होने पर बैंक शुल्क काटकर ₹ 400/- वापस कर दिए जाएंगे. अनुसूचित जाति, अनुसूचित जनजाति, भूतपूर्व सैनिक, महिला, ट्रांसजेंडर, अल्पसंख्यक या आर्थिक रूप से पिछड़े वर्ग (ईबीसी) के उम्मीदवारों के लिए ₹ 250/-. इस ₹ 250/- के शुल्क में से, प्रथम चरण CBT में उपस्थित होने पर लागू बैंक शुल्क काटकर वापस कर दिए जाएंगे. EXAMINATION FEE: Candidates will have to pay the prescribed fee as per their community/category detailed below. For all candidates (except categories mentioned below at Sl. No. 2) Rs 500/-. Out of this fee of Rs 500/-, an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT. For candidates who belong to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) Rs 250/-. This fee of Rs 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.
