कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम (ESIC), श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय, भारत सरकार के प्रशासनिक नियंत्रण के तहत एक सांविधिक निकाय है, जो कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा अधिनियम, 1948 के तहत गठित है। कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा निगम विभिन्न क्षेत्रों के लिए सीधी भर्ती के आधार पर विशेषज्ञ ग्रेड- II (वरिष्ठ/कनिष्ठ स्केल) की भर्ती करने का प्रस्ताव करता है।
Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and working under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, proposes to recruit Specialist Grade– II (Senior/Junior Scale) on direct recruitment basis for different regions. The details of vacancies for different regions in ESIC are available in the notification and may increase or decrease depending on the actual requirement.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a Specialist Grade-II (Senior/Junior Scale), the roles and responsibilities will involve providing expert medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment in the respective specialty, contributing to the healthcare services provided by ESIC hospitals and dispensaries. This may include OPD/IPD services, performing medical procedures, participating in administrative work, and adhering to the rules and regulations of the ESI Corporation.
Age Limits (Maximum Age: 45)
Maximum Age: 45 years as on 26.05.2025
Relaxation: Relaxable up to 5 years for employees of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation and Government Servants. Age relaxation for SC / ST / OBC and PwBD candidates will be as per Government of India rules for reserved vacancies.
Educational Qualifications
SPECIALIST GRADE - II (SENIOR SCALE): A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule of Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Post Graduate Degree in the concerned Specialty as mentioned in Table A or equivalent.
SPECIALIST GRADE - II (JUNIOR SCALE): A recognized medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule of Part-II of third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Post Graduate Qualification in the requisite Specialty as mentioned in Table A.
Other Qualifications
SPECIALIST GRADE - II (SENIOR SCALE): Five years’ experience in the concerned specialty after obtaining the first Post Graduate Degree. Language Test: Candidates should have passed the middle level examination in the official language of the concerned state where vacancies are notified or have a working knowledge of the local language.
SPECIALIST GRADE - II (JUNIOR SCALE): Work experience in a responsible position connected with the Specialty for a period of 3 years for Post Graduate Degree Holders or 5 years for Post Graduate Diploma Holders. Language Test: Candidates should have passed the middle level examination in the official language of the concerned state where vacancies are notified or have a working knowledge of the local language. MBBS or equivalent and Post Graduate qualifications should be recognized by NMC/State Medical Council.
Application Fee (Rs. 500/-)
Candidates [except Women/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Departmental Candidates (ESIC Employees) and Ex Servicemen Candidates] are required to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) through Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque. ESIC employees working on a regular basis are exempted from payment of the application fee.
