Introduction:
उत्तराखंड राज्य के शासकीय नर्सिंग कॉलेजों में असिस्टेंट प्रोफेसर (नर्सिंग) के रिक्त 16 पदों के लिए सीधी भर्ती हेतु आवेदन आमंत्रित किए गए हैं। यह भर्ती UKMSSB द्वारा आयोजित की जा रही है।
Applications are invited for direct recruitment to 16 vacant posts of Assistant Professor (Nursing) in Government Nursing Colleges of Uttarakhand under UKMSSB.

2. Detailed Description
यह भर्ती भारतीय नर्सिंग परिषद एवं उत्तराखंड शासन के नियमानुसार सीधी भर्ती प्रक्रिया के तहत की जा रही है। पद स्थायी एवं राजपत्रित श्रेणी के अंतर्गत हैं।
The recruitment is being conducted as per the rules laid down by the Indian Nursing Council and Government of Uttarakhand. The posts are permanent and gazetted.

3. Roles and Responsibilities
• बीएससी/एमएससी नर्सिंग के विद्यार्थियों को शिक्षण प्रदान करना
• अकादमिक गतिविधियों का संचालन एवं मूल्यांकन
• शोध कार्यों में सहभागिता
• परीक्षा संचालन, रिपोर्टिंग एवं प्रशासनिक कार्यों में सहयोग
• Deliver classroom and clinical teaching to UG/PG nursing students
• Organize academic sessions, mentor students, and manage research work
• Participate in curriculum development, assessments, and university liaison work

4. Age Limits
Minimum Age: 26 Years (as on 01 July 2025)
Maximum Age: 42 Years
Relaxation:
• SC/ST/OBC of Uttarakhand: 5 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
• PwD: 10 Years
• Dependents of Freedom Fighters & Orphans of Uttarakhand: as per norms

5. Educational Qualifications
• M.Sc. Nursing in the relevant field
• Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a recognized Nursing College

6. Other Qualifications
• Valid registration with Nursing Council
• Candidates with Ph.D. in Nursing will be given preference
