Introduction: Army Public Schools (APS) are located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. These schools are administered and managed by Local Military Authorities and are affiliated to CBSE. An Online Screening Test (OST) will be conducted for the selection of teachers.
2. Detailed Description

The selection procedure for teachers includes an Online Screening Test (OST), interview, and evaluation of teaching skills and computer proficiency. The Online Screening Test will be held on 20 Sep 2025 and 21 Sep 2025, with 22 Sep 2025 & 23 Sep 2025 as reserve dates. The test shall be conducted centrally and online by an agency identified by HQ AWES. THOSE WHO APPEAR IN THE EXAMINATION WILL BE GIVEN A SCORE CARD WHICH SHALL BE VALID FOR LIFE. Passing the Online Screening Test is not mandatory for appearing for the interview and evaluation stages. However, OST qualified candidates will be preferred and OST marks carry a weightage at the interview stage. Non-OST qualified candidates, after selection, must pass the OST within two years of appointment with a minimum overall raw score of 50%. The exact number of vacancies will be announced by each School Management through advertisements published in newspapers and respective school website/notice boards. Appointments would be transferable in organizational interest. For Language teachers, a written test comprising essay writing and comprehension of 15 marks each would be held along with evaluation of teaching skills. The Selection Committee may also hold computer proficiency tests if they so desire.

Have knowledge of curriculum and education policy matters. Evaluate student learning. PRT (Primary Teacher): To teach various subjects to students from classes I-V. Possess basic academic knowledge and child psychology knowledge. Have knowledge of curriculum and education policy matters. Evaluate student learning.
4. Age Limits (आयु सीमा 01 अप्रैल, जिस वर्ष नियुक्ति होगी, के अनुसार मानी जाएगी)

PRT: Graduate holding Bachelor’s degree with at least minimum 50% marks in aggregate and B.El.Ed. / Two-year D.El.Ed. (From an NCTE recognized institution). Teachers already in service with Army Public Schools/APPS prior to 11 Aug 2023 with B Ed degree can also apply/continue, subject to completion of Bridge Course. A Post-Graduate with less than 50% aggregate marks in Graduation can also apply for PRT provided they scored 50% or more in Post-Graduation. 6. Other Qualifications
पद पर नियुक्ति के समय CTET/TET (केंद्रीय/राज्य सरकार द्वारा आयोजित) TGT और PRT के लिए अनिवार्य है। OST में शामिल होने के लिए CTET/TET अनिवार्य नहीं है। शिक्षण में अंग्रेजी और हिंदी माध्यम में प्रवीणता। कंप्यूटर एप्लीकेशन का ज्ञान।
CTET/TET (conducted by Centre/state government) is mandatory at the time of appointment as TGTs/PRTs. CTET/TET is not mandatory for appearing in the Online Screening Test. Proficiency in teaching in English and Hindi medium. Knowledge of Computer Application.

11. Application Procedure
स्क्रीनिंग परीक्षा के लिए ऑनलाइन पंजीकरण पोर्टल www.awesindia.com पर लॉग इन करके करना होगा। पंजीकरण के लिए वैध आधार कार्ड, मोबाइल नंबर और ई-मेल आईडी आवश्यक है। पंजीकरण के लिए मोबाइल नंबर और ई-मेल आईडी पर एक OTP प्राप्त होगा। बेसिक विवरण को छोड़कर पोस्ट/अन्य विवरण किसी भी समय सबमिट करने से पहले एडिट किए जा सकते हैं। आवश्यक जानकारी दर्ज करने के बाद, सिस्टम परीक्षा शुल्क ₹385/- ऑनलाइन भुगतान करने के लिए कहेगा। भुगतान सफल होने पर पंजीकरण की पुष्टि प्राप्त होगी और ई-मेल और SMS के माध्यम से भी सूचित किया जाएगा। उम्मीदवार एक से अधिक पोस्ट (PRT/TGT/PGT) के लिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं, बशर्ते वे मानदंड पूरा करते हों; ऐसे मामलों में प्रत्येक पोस्ट के लिए अलग से आवेदन करना होगा। सबमिट किए गए आवेदन का प्रिंट आउट अपने पास रखना चाहिए।
Online registration for the screening exam is required by logging onto the Registration Portal www.awesindia.com. A valid AADHAR CARD, MOBILE NUMBER and e-mail ID are needed for profile registration. An OTP will be received on the Mobile number and e-mail ID for registration. Post/Other details can be edited any time before submitting, except Basic Details. After entering the required information, the system will ask to pay the exam fee of Rs 385/- ON-LINE. Once registration is completed, a confirmation will be received, and the candidate will also be informed through e-mail and SMS. Candidates can apply for more than one post (PRT/TGT/PGT) provided they fulfill the criteria; in such cases, the candidate will have to apply afresh for each post. Candidates must keep a print out of the application submitted.
